BALLET THEATRE COMPANY PERFORMS in BENEFIT for DRA


On September 29, 2007, Ballet Theatre Company performed in a benefit Dance Performance for DRA (Dancers Responding to Aids) at the Theater of the Performing Arts at The Learning Corridor in Hartford, CT.


The Stars come out…. So others can shine…” CT Dancers for Good, raised $60,000 for the DRA, an organizations that raises money for Aids charities and others world-wide. BTC presented “Sisters” choreographed by Ruth Vesenka Lewis.


Guest artists for the evening included Stuart Scott, an anchor for ESPN’s Sports Center. Mr. Scott was the evening’s host. Pilobolus’, Renee Jaworski, Amy Justman, from the Broadway cast of Company and Eric Chase from Aspen Santa Fe Ballet performed.


Many other Connecticut based dance schools joined the program which played to a near sell-out crowd.
