Tracy Dorman

Tracy
Dorman received her dance training from Florence Greenland, Madame
Margarita Froman, Marguerite deAnguera, Wang Shao Pen and David Howard
in New York City and others. She performed with the Connecticut Valley
Regional Ballet, The Hartford Civic Ballet, Canton Show Shop,
Experimental Theatre of Hartford, Connecticut Opera Ballet, Springfield
Children's Music Theatre and numerous other community theater groups.
As a founding member of Ballet Theatre Company, Ms. Dorman has
choreographed much of the company's classical repertoire as well as
costuming, photography and administrative work.
Ms.
Dorman is President of the Connecticut Valley Regional Ballet Company
and past President of Dance Services Network and the Mark Twain
Masquers. She has won numerous awards for scenic and costume design and
photography. She worked with the Hartford Ballet's Costume shop staff
to create costumes for The American Nutcracker designed by
internationally acclaimed designer, Sandra Woodall. Most recently as
photographer, she was a runner-up in a competition for a Ford Motor
Company advertisement for the Ford Explorer on location in Hawaii, with
the photograph appearing in Popular Photography and Imaging Magazine,
and had a featured photograph in the February 2005 issue in an article
about the Ford Rouge Truck Plant in Dearborn, MI.
