Tuition Fees

   2 hours = $ 480.00
  • Payment must be received prior to first class.
45 minutes = $195.00 3.5 hours = $  840.00
  • Tuition is payable by check or cash in the exact amount.
        1 hour = $240.00 5.5 hours = $1320.00
  • Students taking 3 or more classes receive a 10% discount
   1.5 hours = $360.00 7.5 hours = $1800.00
  • 10% discount on tuition for 2 or more family members

Neither the studio, nor the instructors, their agents, servants and employees shall be liable to the students for personal injury, or loss of, or damage to personal property.  The student acknowledges that participation in classes is at his/her own risk. 

Payment Agreement:  By signature below, Student/Guardian agrees to 1) payment of above tuition and fees; 2) make up missed classes within the semester only; 3) no transfer, credit or cash refunds.  In the case of injury, tuition may be refunded or transferred on a pro-rated basis only.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT: An introduction to basic dance movement, musicality and creative styles.

PRIMARY BALLET: Recommended for ages 5 and up. An introduction to basic ballet technique with an emphasis on posture, spatial awareness and musicality. This level is designed to cover 3 years of training.

LEVEL 1: Recommended for ages 8 and up. Ballet Theory is introduced with emphasis on body position and strength building. Barre work is introduced and center work focuses on basic steps and movement across the floor.

LEVEL 2: Recommended for ages 9 and up. Builds on level 1 adding in use of the head, more complex barre exercises and floor exercises. Girls work on strengthening exercises in preparation for future pointe work.

LEVEL 3: Recommended for ages 10 and up. Builds on level 1 and 2 with introduction of increasing difficult steps and movement.  Pointe work is introduces for girls age 11 and older at the recommendation of the teacher.

LEVEL 4: Recommended for ages 12 and up. This is an advanced level class with opportunity for membership into Ballet Theatre Company. 

Modern and Jazz, are offered as electives and should be considered to round out the dancer’s curriculum, in addition to the set ballet schedule for their level. 

Ballet Theatre Academy follows the guidelines of American Ballet Theatre’s National training curriculm and is overseen by ABT certified teachers. The curriculum is a blend of the Russian, French and Italian schools and was designed in conjunction with the top medical professionals in the dance world to develop a healthy dancer and reduce the proliferation of dance related injuries common today. Its intent is to train a versatile dancer to meet the needs of today’s American dance companies.

Liability Release 

Photo/Video Consent is granted for my child to be photographed or videotaped.  These may be used without compensation in a public presentation. The student is free to refuse to be photographer or videotaped.  Without consent, however, the student may not be able to participate in certain performances. 

Physical Contact: Dance is an art form that requires teachers to be able to have appropriate physical contact for the purpose of making technical corrections.  Consent for such physical contact is granted. 

Personal Property: We will not hold Ballet Theatre Company / Academy responsible for the loss or damage of personal property while in attendance and or participating in any Ballet Theatre Company /Academy program. 
 

Ballet Theatre Company / Academy reserves the right to remove any student from class whose behavior is inappropriate or disruptive in the classroom. Should this be necessary, full refund of tuition will be made for the remaining classes in the session.
