Ballet Theatre Academy
Ballet Theatre Academy (BTA), the training division of Ballet Theatre Company, will continue registration. All students are welcome to drop in for a free trial class.
BTA provides an outstanding dance training opportunity for your child. BTA follows the guidelines of the National Standardized curriculum developed by American Ballet Theatre (ABT).
Ballet Theatre Academy follows the guidelines of American Ballet Theatre’s National training curriculum and is overseen by ABT certified teachers. The curriculum is a blend of the Russian, French and Italian schools and was designed in conjunction with the top medical professionals in the dance world to develop a healthy dancer and reduce the proliferation of dance related injuries common today. Its intent is to train a versatile dancer to meet the needs of today’s American dance companies.

The professional caliber of the Company and the Academy attracts accomplished, highly-motivated young adult dancers whose extensive training and performance experience contribute significantly to the Company. Most of the young dancers who train at BTA also excel academically, ranking among the top students in their schools. BTA provides a supportive, non-competitive atmosphere in which all dancers are encouraged to excel and to reach their highest potential.
